I hope you guys are actively and aggressively applying and interviewing. No-one will leave any separation notices unless they have a class date somewhere, and it takes months to get one.

I think this is pretty obvious. Let’s call it a figure of speech for the sake of conversation and a bit of an extension of my own frustration which I’m sure is shared by the majority of us. Of course no body is going to just up and leave without anything else in line. Some folks like myself have and interview or two and or a cjo or two lined up, lateral or better in case things really do continue south.

If you have 1000 121 time and qualify for a DEC position at CommutAir you can be in class in as little as three weeks. I interviewed on the 24th of June and was offered a July 8th class. Just throwing it out there for you guys..
PM me if you want to know more information

Just over a year of reserve actually wouldn't be bad at all for a DEC

But in EWR or IAD wouldn’t be my first choices to do it.

You're joking, right? Endeavor is the Delta wholly owned golden child, they aren't going anywhere. Republic on the other hand is on their own and has a lot to lose. If anything they are the ones who will be looking for a merger partner (maybe SkyWest).
