I’m at CP.
so I said on an earlier post that it was strange, our new hire FAs training at the expressjet facility?? “the door was broken”.... ok but then the news with Trans state and expressjet is taking their DEN base and possible crews? I feel it’s very likely compass will have the same fate and be folded into expressjet. Prove me wrong

The planes TSA is flying are being transferred to Expressjet. But the pilots are not being “folded in” at Expressjet. That only happens when you have a merger or acquisition. Usually happens when one company has planes, routes or gates another company owns or has rights to. It’s costly and take time. TSA doesn’t own anything and neither does Compass. United already owns the planes and decides where they fly. And TSA is just shutting down operations. The pilots are getting, formally or informally, a lot of preferential hiring elsewhere.

There is no reason for Compass to be acquired by anyone. After the Delta planes are gone, all that is left is the 20 planes American owns. AAG can and will decide who flies those planes when the Compass contract is up. And Compass pilots are already seeing the same kind of hiring TSA pilots will see.

XJT will no longer have E175’s or parts for them ect.... Why would they go through the trouble of getting rid of 25 of them, just to get 20. And if they keep the spare parts kits. They belong to UA anyway...
