I remember Air Wisconsin a few years ago, also a privately held company. I thought they were down for the count. I’m not sure about the level of communication within the Air Wisconsin group. But I do remember the frustration from the uncertainty while the owners were working on the United flying. Anyway, you know how that worked out. I’m just saying, there’s still hope

Well, during the Air Wisconsin - United deal, Air Wisconsin management kept telling pilots not to leave, and that something big was coming, but they couldn't say what it was yet and that they would regret leaving. They said it more than once and some people were doubtful and left, and some stayed and it worked out.

and these China Coronavirus problems are playing right into management)s hands. There is no topside scope for joint ventures. Even the hint that they may last the foreign carriers carry their international stuff might be enough to stampede a serious percentage of the widebody pilots who are suddenly going to be flying a whole lot less.
Try again! Most of the guys in talk to scope is dead on arrival. If mgmt wants more 76 seat aircraft they can bring a 100 seater to mainline. Too many pilots have seen what scope relaxation can do to a career

I know the junior people feel that way. The older people less so. We shall see.

what is worse is that ALPA communication already seems to prep membership for a more “balanced” view on scope - so you know it is coming.

Your banking Compass future on a Airline you currently don’t fly for, that just bought 49% in another airline, and Mesa that seems to know what UA wants... All my Compass friends will be out by spring. There not waiting for something magical. They will be at a Major or LLC.. they mention even if they get 20-40 more aircraft. It’s still a regional.. And they want to move in anyway..

Curious what they may send to ASE. The E175 doesn't have the climb performance to do it, unless you kicked a bunch of people off. Apart from mainline aircraft going in there, the 700 seems to be the only RJ that fits the bill.
