I think most people read this as the base will close. The lack of communication from management AKA silence is deafening.

If I am reading this correctly, CPZ will only be left with SEA/LAX as a crew base. Once the company consolidates to the 20 AA 175, I would expect LAX to be the only base until the AA 175 are transferred back home.
