Losing Delta and New Opportunities
#1691
Everyone that’s hung around has had a lot of reasons. Personally I have a mil gig that I’m building PIC. It’s been more advantageous to stick around for a furlough opp on the apps. I have irons in the fire, who knows, maybe I’ll be flying with you someday
A lot of the FO’s that stayed have lines or live in domicile and have been able to get trips off of RSV, which has worked for most. I know quite a few who were able to hit mins and go fly for LCC’s.

Yea... we don't all want to come and work for OO. Most of the folks I've talked to are using it as a backup plan while they look at other options. If OO is trying to cross that 6000 threshold, they'd be better off for something like this to fast track people in the door. I understand what Rick and amcnd are saying here with previous complications, but financially speaking, it could be worth it. Being worth the headache and a ****ed off group of pilots... that's another conversation.

Because my apparently not feeding your children is frowned upon...
Also, it’s the safe option, fast track course, one hop commute and the bonus. I know if I walk through the Mecca Regionals doors that I’ll be accepted, it’ll be a great group of people and I’ll fit in like the rest. But it’s still a lateral move and a year wasted on seniority.
Realistically( to me at least) it’s kinda like the golden Q. “Which major do you want to work for?”, but everyone knows the answer often tends to be, “whichever one calls first!”
