Everyone that’s hung around has had a lot of reasons. Personally I have a mil gig that I’m building PIC. It’s been more advantageous to stick around for a furlough opp on the apps. I have irons in the fire, who knows, maybe I’ll be flying with you someday

A lot of the FO’s that stayed have lines or live in domicile and have been able to get trips off of RSV, which has worked for most. I know quite a few who were able to hit mins and go fly for LCC’s.

Exactly right.. I'm here. Goin down with the ship.. I have my reasons. Let's all be true compass pilots in the meantime... have fun, be safe, and treat each other well no matter what.

I understand what Rick and amcnd are saying here with previous complications, but financially speaking, it could be worth it. Being worth the headache and a ****ed off group of pilots... that's another conversation.
Cudos to you, don't go anywhere where you don't want to go. But if you really feel that way, why even use them as backup?

Because my apparently not feeding your children is frowned upon...

Also, it’s the safe option, fast track course, one hop commute and the bonus. I know if I walk through the Mecca Regionals doors that I’ll be accepted, it’ll be a great group of people and I’ll fit in like the rest. But it’s still a lateral move and a year wasted on seniority.

Realistically( to me at least) it’s kinda like the golden Q. “Which major do you want to work for?”, but everyone knows the answer often tends to be, “whichever one calls first!”

Yeah, just curious. Trying to convince myself that staying in the meantime isn’t the worst idea. I have a pretty good line as an FO at the moment but not building TPIC is my concern.

I left at 1800 (hired with 1500). If I’m gonna build time in the right seat may as well be in a 737.
