that may be what is needed at GoJet.. SkyWest is leasing Gojet what 29-39 aircraft. (10 already transferred) Doubt they want to take all there staffing away... just a thought.. I think Compass was trying to pull what Mesa did with UA. Extend current aircraft and add 20 more...Will see what Compass says about this OO deal.. “doesn't effect our plans” again..??

Current strategy from management is silence.

AMCND is correct. They have no interest in operating another (union) airline, and even less interest in trying to merge one with OO (which would force that periodic union vote which they've dodged for 13 years now).

They can hire the ones they want, and use a short transition course for currently typed pilots to minimize training costs.

It’s less about a union thing and more about 2 operations, 2 HDQ buildings, 3 fleet types with different MX intervals, ect... was to much..

Man. I know it’s funny, but I’m not even able to laugh anymore. It’s starting to feel like this is what’s really going on.

no cost savings the pilots will be on the street looking for jobs. Plus if compass is a union they could never merge with skywest non union. They tried with expressjet. They won't and don't need to buy another airline. Lots of growth at Skywest this year. They will be over 6000 pilots in the next 2 years

If the union (and SLI) wasn't an issue, they would have combined all overhead in a matter of months.
