Heard re engining 6 of them so Vasu the Greek will be keeping them around for a while. Only 6 forced upgrades last bid too!
We would have killed for that back in 10-15! You guys don’t want them anyway, Repug did a real nice job taking care of them. CDLs up the ace for being bent, none of them fly straight. And the cockpits... Easy to tell which ones came back in about .5 seconds.
But, if it keeps y’all going please get them. We gladly would lose them for everyone there.

I don’t think anyone here actually thinks that is going to happen to be honest.

The difficulty is thinking about what really IS going on. We are losing aircraft and flying faster than we are losing people but we are still recruiting, still training, and still paying to retain people who if nothing changes will really be even MORE surplus to needs. If TSH didn’t think they had SOMETHING coming, they should already be furloughing.

Now is that something going to be Moxy or a deal for 20 fifty seaters of some kind? And are they really going to be able to pull it off? Those are legitimate questions.

But the alternative - that TSH is just spending the money to provide jobs and keep the pilots around out of the goodness of their hearts seems even more suspect...

One things for sure. 2020 is going to be an interesting year in the regional airlines (all airlines really). With the intro of the 550, rumors or Mesa trying to work with AA to have more 65 seater RJ’s, consolidations, etc.
