ESOP to get buy in from all takers in making it a success, then half the difference between Compass E-175 rates and JB E-190 rates.
Then start negotiating rates for the A220s.
why split the rates? I would say that if we started flying E190's then JB E190 rates should be the benchmark and we as a pilot group should except nothing less!

How long are you guys going to let mgmt drag you around by the nose? They said an announcement would be made in 2 weeks back in August. It should be clear by now that your leadership is FOS.

We knew that before August, but the fact is they either get new flying or are out their own jobs because we aren’t going to hack the headquarters overhead with 20 aircraft.

So I figure they HAVE to be trying, not out of the goodness of their hearts but simply for their own good. Whether they will be successful or not remains to be seen.

The cadre for JB started with subpar rates but some healthy ESOPs. It was a roll of the dice of course, since if JB had folded those would be worthless, but those who kept the stock for five years or more made out quite well.

And it was a way for JB to keep their startup costs lower until the business was established and turning a profit.

Compass has always been a place for people who liked to roll the dice.

You think it’s good now, wait until you can check the furlough box. Every pilot on a hiring team who has ever been furloughed (and most senior enough to be in that position have) goes the extra mile for you.

But yes, some really decent opportunities are abundant even now.

You won't be furloughed though. You'll be merged with TSA.

It's like some of you forget who owns compass. The 20 AA 175's will be transferred to TSA and UA will give 20 more of XJet's parked 145's to TSA to fly.
