So, United flying like everyone suspected by way of mana air. Why on earth does this still have to be a “secret”? It’s not. United loves to swoop on struggling regionals. I guarantee by no means that the minority interest part is a new development in the “deal”.

LAX base closes mid-late 2020. AA bird go to envoy. Delta is out by June.

Late spring 2020, we start taking 30 UA birds from Mesa. We become an all-UA carrier partially owned by UA. Likely no more SEA LAX PHX. Either we take the IAH base and some EWR, or UA will make a huge shift to get us some of their SFO/LAX flying.. not likely if you ask me. A CPP program with UA starts but after comically long delay and it ends up being underwhelming.

Either way I’m not going to be the chump that spends another year commuting to reserve flying 10 hours a month before the UA party starts up.

Time stamp me boys, I’m going all in

Would you gamble 6 months of reserve for this though?

This place isn’t worth another 6 months of reserve if you ask me

maybe part of what is taking so long is figuring out where to put us. since we are already on the west coast wouldn't it make sense to give us flying out here and give whatever east or central U.S. flying there is to someone like RP or SKW that is already there?

6 months? It will be over a year if you ask me.

Not worth it. Totally agree with what Slowhawk said. Not worth flying 5 hours a month commuting to endless reserve.

Aviation moves pretty slowly. We won’t have an announcement until after the holidays probably. When do y’all think planes will show up? Fall 2020? Maybe if we are lucky. I mean our own windows is almost a full year.
