Training Pay/Timeline
Trying to finance my near future with Compass, and I do not recall what the pay is during training. I found a thread from 2008, but I figured that may be a little out of date.
Anyone know what to expect per week/month?
Also I'm curious of the current timeline to the line. I have my CTP course the first week of June, so I'm pretty excited to start!
Thanks.

No pay during CTP. It’s a freebie, and you’re not an employee yet.
During Indoc day, you get a few hours of credit, then CBTs start. I think CBTs are worth 17.5 hours of credit. When you show for class, normal money starts. 75 hours/month with 24/7 per diem since you are technically out of base. Expect ~$3000/month of take-home.
Pay days are the 13th (2nd 1/2 guarantee + any extras) and the 27th (1st 1/2 of guarantee). If training day numero uno is after the 15th, expect the 13th of the following month to be your first pay check. Otherwise, expect the 27th. It’ll take a bit to catch up with everything that is owed.
All told, if your finances are paycheck-to-paycheck, expect a rude awakening. If you’ve built a buffer (very highly recommended for this or ANY new job), the money is perhaps better than expected.
Any corrections and/or clarifications are welcome, homies.

Thanks for the quick response koala!
Pretty much what I figured. And no, not living paycheck to paycheck, I just like to plan things out.
Any idea on if there's a large delay from indoc to class? I don't recall what I was told during my interview. You guys have been super helpful here, so thanks!

New hire schedule without your ATP is 1 week in DFW for the CTP course and written, 1 day in MSP, 2 weeks home for CBTs, 7ish weeks of training in MSP with some little breaks sprinkled in there somewhere.
