Lets get this whole American Eagle, Compass debate done. As an “Envoy” AKA real Eagle pilot I want Compass to keep the 20 birds Y’all took from us due to PSA being idiots. And if you dont know what I am talking about with PSA and what they did to American Eagle continue on to your snack box thread. I ride on Compass almost weekly to and from my west coast home to my terrible Dallas base. Compass pilots all cool never an issue. I Went to Envoy for flow, I am a 2016 hire and will flow by 2021 at the latest as I am in the “charlie bucket” category. Yall ran the 20 175s from AA into the ground. I ride in the jumpseat a lot and the orange MEL stickers illuminating the cockpit is like early or late Halloween decorations depending on the time of the year. We never have anything like this at Envoy, stuff gets broke and gets fixed period. Claiming you guys are the number 1 performer no. Claiming you rarely cancel flights no. Best story was last week in the jumpseat with IDG 1 oil MEL, push off gate in LAX so I can get home then APU gen off bus illuminates. “Thanks for playing time to run for Southwest”. Even better was two weeks ago we had an aircraft swap in LAX and they had to leave behind 4 paying passengers for seats that were Mel’d... TSA ran the 145s Envoy/AA loaned them into the ground with replacement parts, that when we took the 145s back were found to be from Home Depot and Ace hardware. Yall keep the 20 rentals you treated like rental cars. Again Compass Pilots you guys have been nothing but cool but your maintenance and management is Valujet version 2...

Someone should post the navy seal copypasta but as an Envoy pilot. I'm a captain so naturally I'm too lazy.

Yeah, I'm with BobbyLee on this one. We fly it as a Delta Connection route from LAX, but not as an Eagle one. If he did happen to think that the 3 year old AA birds are in the same shape as the 10+ year old Delta birds that he/she/MX may have ridden, they're sorely mistaken.

I just want to finish the whole Eagle Compass debate with facts.
The superior flying skills provided by Compass pilots is why we got, I mean stole, the 20 Envoy birds. An elite group of Compass pilots was pitted against Envoy pilots in a flying competition deep in the heart of Texas. Judged by Doug himself. And that’s how we got the AA birds.
