Is TSH going to come in and do a clean sweep replacing our MX leadership, or are we going to up the MX signing bonus, or are we going to start following Embraer’s actual preventative MX procedures....? How can everyone sit so idle when our performance is every day putting us all one more step to being newhire FOs at whatever regional will take us in 2020?

You're kinda new right? I don't mean that in a patronizing way at all. Just wondering if you're going through the shock of what TSH is like lol.. We have all been through it.. The frustration is real and we all agree with you. We joke and have fun on here to stay sane

Just don't joke too much or some mainline companies might think you're not psychologically stable enough to fly their passengers in their planes. Just in planes owned by them but operated by someone else.

Please. Even worst case scenario - which I doubt will happen - at 80 hours a month even someone completing IOE today will have the skill and 121 experience to become a DEC anywhere else 18 months out. But I'll grant you, the forest fire smoke and runway closure at SEA has done a number on the Delta performance, but since Delta has a domicile there too I imagine they are backing out the late flights that were simply beyond our control.

To an extent you are right mainline deals with a lot of the same issues as us and there performance is impacted too. However when they are short on rampers or gate space they always give priority to mainline flights, hurting our numbers even more.

My point is that they know that this part of it - at least - was beyond our control. They can't actually expect us to be on time when SEA is on flow restriction that is keeping everyone within 400 miles from being on time - even their own mainline flights.

I'm pretty sure contracts will come down to money and whipsawing. I'm sure the only performance metric they really care about is staffing as that would be most out of their control.

Wish I could say that in this job market, whipsawing is a thing of the past, but when OO pilots are willing to sell their souls for a couple extra Embraers who knows...
