I would suggest helping our new FOs figure out how to reset the VTA on descent to stop the constant horn. I like FPA cause it's nice and simple but vertical direct to works too. Together we can stop the crying Embraer *queue Sarah McLachlan ASPCA song*

I have 2 pet peeves at this airline.
When guys ask for flaps full numbers in SNA..
Oh, so you want to use an unfamiliar flap setting that will guarantee you float past your point because of the wonky deck angle, then slam it on like you’re trying to catch the third wire at the very end of the TDZ? Definitely better than putting it down smooth and right on the markers with flaps 5. Those 4 extra knots slower on Vap are definitely worth it
That, and slapping the boards out/stowed. You can take 2 extra seconds and not freak out every passenger on the plane. Flying 101, those 78 people in the back are more important than that cool feeling you get when you nonchalantly slap that lever

Also it’s about 10kts not 4 depending on weight and that does make a difference. Also if you look at the QRH, as we approach the contaminated runway season, you should see what setting is recommends. Better have a good reason you don’t do that in slush if something happens.... just saying!

I'm sorry, that's kinda funny right therrr. Telling him he hasn't mastered full while trying to sell to all of us that flaps 5 means you float and float? Maybe you haven't mastered flaps 5?
