Sooo.....
At compass you were allowed to use flaps 4 on approach and your landing callout was "Flaps 5(full), set Vapp, landing checklist?
If so, republic does not allow flaps 4 as an intermediate setting on approach as there are no approach warnings as it's strictly a takeoff setting.
And we recently adopted this stupid "Flaps X, Set Vapp, landing checklist". There has also been a few other things over the last year that we have changed that you guys were already using.

Or the right cheek is lower than the left... who has lop sided glutes? Or sits on the right cheek more than the left... come on, even out the sitting pressure!!

I have 2 pet peeves at this airline.
When guys ask for flaps full numbers in SNA..
Oh, so you want to use an unfamiliar flap setting that will guarantee you float past your point because of the wonky deck angle, then slam it on like you’re trying to catch the third wire at the very end of the TDZ? Definitely better than putting it down smooth and right on the markers with flaps 5. Those 4 extra knots slower on Vap are definitely worth it
That, and slapping the boards out/stowed. You can take 2 extra seconds and not freak out every passenger on the plane. Flying 101, those 78 people in the back are more important than that cool feeling you get when you nonchalantly slap that lever
