If anyone cares.... Looking at the last bid awards.... I got hired almost exactly a year ago. Got out of training in September. Have flown about 750 hours. I am 27 numbers away from the most junior upgrade for the September class and they are upgrading “20 a month for the foreseeable future.” I will probably upgrade right at 1000 hours right darn close to a year after getting out of training. Just a real look at what’s going on.... Grass is green 👌🏼

I'll be teaching cell class soon, we're taking out of the survival story and putting in a new subject area, FAA approved of course, "The Art of the Shake n Bake: how to hum Highway to the Danger Zone during your next hand-flown visual and other useful Captain'ry."

Thanks for the update, I figured we would be back to quick upgrades when the flood gates opened after our illegal signing bonus last year, seemed like 2015 again.

I didn’t get the bonus, but those after me will get the bonus and upgrade fast. I’m just happy about the upgrade...

Are you 27 away from the most junior LAX upgrade or in the whole company? Not that it matters it just amazes me that I'm about to upgrade at 2.5 years and almost immediately after it will drop to around 1.5. Good to hear if true. Plus may mean low reserve for me which is great!
Btw, I was on CA reserve for around 16 months for bypassing like 50 people during the loss of planes and PHX, but now it's down to 2 months or so, maybe less. Once we caught the list up, the time went WAY down. Happens quick
