Kinda would like to put a note in to the right people about this, but not sure.

I can guarantee if he hadn’t caught me at the gate, he would have stopped me from deplaning and asked all these questions in front of paying pax. Seems to be a military guy that needs to be in charge
Tool of the day.. Wow that's so wrong on so many levels. Where are his mainline FOs to be like.... Uh... Bro... ?? That would be so embarrassing

He's straight up wrong. There's no need to ask the captain for a seat when you're on a nonrev pass. This is his own power trip. He's going to run into it until the day he retires because he's the problem. What an arse.

Total TOTD nominee. Definitely put it there so the other mainline guys can see. I'm glad we work so hard for pennies on the dollar and get lower priority than his grandmothers cousins adopted son and it still ****es him off. I'm sure you can find him on his boat on the weekends, thanks to the low cost labor we provide. Really grinds my gears.

Sorry you had to deal with that. I would have told him I always ask for a ride when I do jumpseat regardless of where I am sitting but I am nonreving so I am not required to just like when you are on our AA birds. Total TOTD. Luckily I have never had to deal with someone who is that insecure and on a power trip.

This is why I always check in, even if I’m DH. Takes me 30 secs to say hi and thanks for the lift. Get to avoid grandpa from giving me a 5 mins back in my day speech

This is why I just where a jacket or a sweater when in the back, saves the trouble of so many irritating problems.

No problem but heads. If you are traveling in the back based on jumpseat privileges all airlines require check in with Capt. No one care wtf
You like its policy. You seat in back is due to jumpseat privledges. If you like we can go to the way it was before, 1 jumpseat equals 1 pilot rides irregardless if the cabin is all empty.
Your attitudes towards this suc ks.
And for your grandpa comment brainless, he is the one that fought for unlimited jumpseat privileges you have now.
Go play with your cell phone. Not much else your good for.

No ones complaining about the rules. And no one is disputing how it used to be in the past? It's ridiculous to be chastised for "sneaking on airplanes", when you're not even a jumpseater, and are using non rev privileges.
