We've got several commuters from the islands here so hopefully one of them can chime in on what the commute is like. I can tell you short call is a 2 hour call out and long call is a 12 hour call out. I've done 4 months of long call here and have only gotten a true 12 hour call out once. That being said if you're going to try and stay at home and commute in on the 12 hour call out just make sure you have 2 different flight options available until you're nightly release time typically 5pm base time to meet the requirements of our commuter clause. I'm not too sure of what current reserve times are for fo's theese days as they tend to change often. Hope that helps.

Just over a 2 hour call out for the company call today. Topics will include such hot topics as too many OJIs in November and a reminder to not drink and drive during the holidays and that ice is slippery for those folks in MSP,ISM scores going down,the MSP corporate Christmas party (there should be a LAX PHX and SEA parties),MX had a rough month but our metrics are looking better for December with more preventative mx being performed. Still looking into SLC base but the numbers don’t support it yet. FAs still can’t see the fonts in IOCC. I’m sure there will be something else that I missed,but that’s usually the main ones. Maybe I’ll break the bingo card out
