They decide they don't want to renew the contract at the end of the year because of that, any combination of other carriers out of Newark and Dulles could operate those flights without any real worry about staffing numbers.
He works for "Legacy" XJT. C5 still have a few more years on the contract, which will get renewed and i would love to see your RJ operate IAD-CHO. United losing C5 Dash8s means operating with a very small profit margin, if any at all, on all of our routes.

EV operates a bunch of short flights including ORD-SBN, IAH-CLL, DEN-COS. Those are all well under 75 miles.

If you're just going to pee in our Cherrios than please move along sir. I would love to see XJT or any other carrier continue to operate flawlessly after losing like 80% of their mechanics from an unwanted MX relocation.

As far as people, this was probably my favorite of the 3 regionals I worked for. The plane itself was fun to fly as well.

Our DHC8 contract with United doesn't expire for 2 years and 9 months. We have been running operations for awhile now with no spare airplanes because of all the C-checks being backed up with the MX move to ALB. All of our C-checks should be complete by the end of May. Even without the spares, our completion factor and D0 has been going up for 3 months. I feel like we are on the upswing from a very challenging year.

Why cant an rj do iAd-cho? We do dfw to Tyler Texas and Chicago to Kalamazoo in an rj.

We can see on the release what it costs envoy total for everything to run a flight. It's like $800 on a flight like that. How much is saved by using a turbo prop? $75? It's why aa had no issue going from an atr on Mia-eyw to an rj.

As long as C5 can cover the attrition that has skyrocketed recently then they will be just fine.

Considering the fuel burn on a 50 seat RJ is approximately double that of a Dash, I would imagine that the difference is more than $75.
