Also depends on what was bid for. I know right out of the gate we had 1 guy get a line for the first month. Turned out he didnt put a single preference into PBS so it was able to build him something but the other guys in my class who were senior to him put restrictive requests in which made PBS convert them to reserve.

I personally have my number 1 request basically "build me any line" and then after that I start asking for reserve specific days off, so I have been trying for a line!

Is Dulles a hard base to get after training? Or does is change every month?

No. You can pretty much hold any base. And if for some reason you can't then you'll hold it after a month or so.

We've had a lot of captains get hired on at other carriers in the last year or two including Virgin America, JetBlue, Spirit, Frontier, Delta, US Airways, and United. I guess pretty much everywhere.

We have 2 guys slated to leave here in the next 2 weeks for a major, and I know of at least 1 guy whose swimming right now hoping for a phone call soon.

When your dealing with a pilot group as small as this 3 people is a big loss.
