Still hiring and upgrading with no plans to stop either. Not sure how many they interview that aren't quite at ATP mins, but I'd bet as long as you get your mins within a few months they would have a class date for you, provided you interview well.

It's not uncommon to interview guys just below the minimums. I assisted with some interviews last week and several guys were offered employment and a class date as soon as they got the required time. They were all about 200 hours shy. I wouldn't worry too much about the time. Feel free to PM me with any additional questions.

I met with CommutAir in the Atlanta open house last week. I must say, they have a nice crew and many things to offer a FO. There were seven of us there. I was given an offer on the spot and only know about one of the other guys, which did not get in. I had an early flight out, so there was not a chance to see how everyone else did.
My flight total flight time was 1300, but PIC is over 1000 and CC is over 550, night 130. I do have a degree from Embry-Riddle and will have the 1500 hours in two months.

Congrats...you lucky SOB. LOL

Seriously well done. Apart from the night time hours I have similar times and have an interview coming up. Hoping for a similar result. It really seems like a great place to work with good people.

Onward and upward.

I was there as well! I am pretty similar to your situation. Just about 1300 total time. They also offered me a job on the spot. I know they offered a few other jobs on the spot as well.

I am pretty excited. Seems like it will be a good place to start out. Now to get 200 more hours as quick as possible!

R0cknry,
They put me down for the December class, but gave me the option to move it to January. I am flying as much as possible to try to make the December class. Did they put you on the same schedule?

They put me down for a December 1st class. It will be a stretch for me to make it but depending on weather and my students I may be able to!

Did they give you December 1st? Im not sure if they are doing 1 or 2 classes a month!

Typically the first Monday of the month. C5 is not geared to run 2 classes at once.
