I think Squawk2112 might have a few things to add.

Otherwise, in 2013 there are about 20-25 200s & 300s getting parked around the world by various airlines. Will be interesting to see if anything happens.

I think I heard Republics Q400 were having alot of mx issues and we had to pick up some of their flying. Anyway as far as the new aircraft are concerned ill believe it when they are parked on the ramp. Can always hope though!

What bases are the new hires going to? What, if any is a typical trip and how many days off per month are you working?

New Hires to all three class that's finishing IOE right now went to IAD and CLE. Next class I think is going to be split up between the three bases. I would say as a new hire expect 11 days off per month until you can hold a line. Trips are decent right now. A lot of day trips in standups in CLE and lots of 2,3,4 day trips in EWR and IAD. Company and the union are working together to try and give efficient trips and what the pilots want. Ask again when peak flying swings into full gear in two months.
