See 121.436 (c)
"(c) For the purpose of satisfying the flight hour requirement in paragraph (a)(3) of this section, a pilot may credit 500 hours of military flight time obtained as pilot in command of a multiengine turbine-powered, fixed-wing airplane in an operation requiring more than one pilot."
It's not a 'way around' the sic requirement. It's recognition that you've got quality experience. You'll need 500 sic in 121 and then you can upgrade.
Good Luck

“with unparalleled growth and continuous advancements in technology, now is the best time to join the fastest growing regional airline.”

LinkedIn CommutAir ad.

What. A. Joke.

Unparalleled??? Ah, it’s been paralleled. Many times. And is this company REALLY talking about technology?! Get out of here. Literally THE LAST regional to go paperless and they are talking about it like it’s some huge step forward in Aviation. It’s embarrassing. After three years of working here, I can unequivocally say we are behind every other regional airline out there in terms of technology. My friends can’t believe what I have to put up with here.

Sorry, just saw that on LinkedIn and my jaw dropped.

And “fastest growing”? Well, Envoy has classes of 20-30 month, and Endeavor has been hiring 20-60 a month for a year......

Question. What’s the highest number of hours of IOE a new hire FO pilot will be given if the pilot has a very good attitude, working hard and is making slow but continued progress?

Highest I've heard is 100 hours. Not uncommon to do 50 hours right now for new hires.

Keeping in mind that anything over about 25-30 will put you on increased scrutiny.

Rightfully so. It’s horrendous that things have reached this level across the regionals.

And I’m sure you are one of those that was good to go your first flight in the jet. Lighten up, everyone in training is putting in the effort...we can’t all be as good as you.

Not at all, and I clearly wasn’t saying that. However, “putting in the effort” should only permit a certain level of allowances.

And I very clearly stated this is across ALL refionals. The comment just happens to be in a C5 thread.
