Never know, maybe the company is still attempting to call him/her? They haven't posted the upgrades yet. If they're serious about wanting the upgrade and they're reasonably senior, call the union or the chief/assistant chief pilot and find out.

I told him the same thing. Call the CP and ask if all calls went out yet. If he says yes then ask why he didn't get a call.

Word on the street is we only have 4-5 people that qualify for the 8 upgrades in Oct. If anybody is looking to jump ship at the regional and has their 1000 hours of SIC time, now would be the time to apply and get hired. Feel free to PM me with any questions.

Good question. I think hiring would improve if we could ever get ipads. Let's face it, not many people want to come here when we are still carrying around 40 lbs of paper. iPads would even the playing field a little bit.
I've given up on asking that question during the crew room leadership visits. I'm tired of every member of management shrugging their shoulders and saying they don't know.

So as a second year FO my pay would be what for year 2? My understanding was $54 1 hr year after IOE.
Your saying it would now be $38?
