You should be careful. Your bosses at UE are watching. Don't jeopardize any possible expansion for your 5 min of fame.

Aussie Inbound
Hey everyone!
I am coming over from the land down under! I have been given a ATP/CTP start date of 27/8/18 and initial training 6/9/18 (still finalising some visa docs)
Wondering if there are any other Aussies snooping around on here who have gone over and started training? If so, please drop me a line when you get a chance, I'd love to shoot some questions at you about the transition over and how you are finding training?
If anyone else has some info you think I'll find interesting or and advice please feel free to inbox me or leave a reply.
Look forward to meeting some of you on the line
Cheers!
Simon!

Got a few questions, any help would be great.
Can some one explain the commuter parking policy? Does it have a limit based on the parking in your base?
Would I have higher priority (over non Commutair) if non rev on company flights?
Did I read you still have flight cases, no EFB yet?
Rumors on what new base to support all the new jets and pilots. If I had to guess Albany (maint) or Cleveland (HQ)?
Thanks a bunch.

As far as I know, they'll cover your parking at one airport, up to the cost of what it would cost to park in the employee lot at your base ($500, IIRC for Dulles)
Jumpseat yes as far as priority, not 100% sure on non-revving.
Yes, we still have paper Jepps. I would ASSUME since the EFB LOA was finally signed, and our FAA has been bugging us to get this done we'll see some progress on this front soon. But I wouldn't hold my breath at this point.
Given our training footprint, I would THINK you'd have an EFB by the time you're done with training if you're interviewing today. (Interviewing now for September/October class, 2 weeks basic indoc, 2-1/2 weeks systems, 5 days systems integration, 3 days GFS, 14 sims (including PC/LOFT).
Thats bare minimum 2 months from day one to IOE, assuming no breaks. Figure a few gaps in there depending on scheduling, so interviewing now will be hitting IOE sometime in December.
Zero rumors for another crew base at this point.
