Just as others have cover flights for C5 you have covered flights for others. MTC, crews etc.. It's not that big of a deal unless it's a regular thing. All the MLs are into completion factors.
He's is not going to tell you what is really, the meat, going on if it has to do with other UAL feeders. IF there is something in the works that affects another UAL feeder he can't. If he was/is management he would put himself and C5 in the crosshairs.

guys that's not me ok, I'm in management remember? Apprentice will leave b4 I ever leave. Thank you guys for the thoughts and wishes, if I was in that situation, though. Atleast I know you guys are a cool crowd. More Leaks to come.
