The smell of merger is in the air, will be interesting to see how you all get along. United is currently looking at ways to improve the CPP to make it a better recruiting tool. Our percentage of CPP guys in each United class will go up as soon as we have 400+ pilots on the seniority list.
EFBs have been distributed to the training department as many of you know, and it's working out great with the MINT. Expect it to reach the line by latest September. Where to have a new base is still undecided as we look at our route structure and plans for growth with United. ALB was thrown out there but later retracted. If XJT shrinks outta IAH(sadly) then that might come back on the table since United will still need 50 seat flying out of IAH. From what I gather with the back and forth convo, Republic and CommutAir would be the new Mesa and XJT outta IAH. As you can see, Republic is already moving in soon.
Stay tune, more to come.

It really wouldn't be a "merger", more like XJT would acquire their ERJ-145s and flying back.

This whole "XJT is going out of business" is getting really ridiculous. They are not going anywhere and will be a big player in United's domestic expansion. They continue to cover CommutAir (EWR) and MESA (IAH) block hours each month. They saw a huge increase in block hours from United in March and for next month. They are also opening TYS sometime this quarter.

Ummmm no its United's 145s and United's flying, we (CommutAir and XJT) just fly what we are given with the planes we are given. Relax. And we covered other regional flying couple weeks ago in EWR. So no u didn't cover CommutAir flying. It's a sensitive topic with what's happening with XJT but relax, don't blow a gasket.

He's is not going to tell you what is really, the meat, going on if it has to do with other UAL feeders. IF there is something in the works that affects another UAL feeder he can't. If he was/is management he would put himself and C5 in the crosshairs.

I know 3-4 more people that will be ready by the end of Aug.
The CPP pass rate seems to be pretty high right now, both for the Hogan and Interview, wish we could get some actual stats though.
