All 145 classroom and GFS is supposed to be held in IAD starting in January (they are getting additional space in the same building our current facility is; including FA Training). Was told CommutAir is going to get two GFS trainers (unknown if leased or purchased). Initial training sims will continue in STL & CVG. Allegedly recurrent/PC sims will expand to other simulators, possibly as soon as December.

Wow I guess I’m the first guy to get to this...Official announcement from union says fo’s with one year of service get dash ca rates, downgraded guys get pay protected, dash ca gets jet ca rate, and all ca get retention bonus of 10,000 over 2 years.

Yet there doesn’t seem to be anything to fix all the extensions.

I have a fix. Go to Endeavor, collect $10k instantly, and make $88/hr after upgrading in 6 months.

Well done by the union getting this executed. Too little too late from the company, however. There’s still the question of recruitment while we offer $14/hr less to newcomers than Endeavor’s upcoming TA, and we still offer poor QOL and work conditions.

Hopefully this staunches the bleeding. It's not enough, but it shows there's something happening in the background and gives me hope.

I think the LOA is for keeping who is currently here....here. 2nd year FO gets captain rates and captains get jet rates plus retention bonus. This does not address new hires or even QOL. But on pure speculation I think this might be the plan: there will be more incentives to come Jan/Feb wen the dash guys fully transition (there has to be else bye bye 61 jets, hello 25 jet max) but for now try to keep who we have.

I wish all you guys the best but I’m moving on. Like saucy said, too little too late.
