Can the company do no wrong? Was this wonderfully executed?

When I mentioned the possibility of it being timed out and unclear if it will be replaced, I said I was told due to gear cycles. I agree, it doesn't seem that the plane is totally timed out. Is it possible to replace the gear costs more than they want to invest in it? That the parts are worth more than the depreciated 14 year old plane?

Spoke to MX in ALB a couple days ago...
The gear did reach its max cycles, and its in the hangar. The gear was sent for overhaul and it will return to service. Apparently TBO on E145 gear is around 7000 cycles.

Gear is overhauled at 20,000 cycles. They don't "time out".

I’m always TRYING stay positive, but it is hard to do here. I just got an email confirming that my hotels will be paid for in Dulles for my ERJ trasition (and downgrade!) class even though I’m based there. Thank you Commutair for making a bad situation not even worse.
