Trust me. I’ve tried, and failed.

That being said, these guys will go through jet class in the right seat and within months will be transitioning over to the left, especially after the email sent out by BK this morning.
I haven’t seen any email that you’re referencing. No one can upgrade to the left if they can’t staff the right. They can’t get anyone to come here. Can’t blame them, this place is run by complete amateurs. Nothing appealing about this place. Mesa has their stuff together more than this place.

Never got an email, what does "within months" mean? Also, this is assuming that CommutAir will be able to hire new FOs after downgrading and displacing people. CommutAir's reputation is in the toilet. Morale is damaged beyond repair. QOL was never good to begin with. The seniority list has been shrinking fast instead of growing. I think we'll be losing some of those downgraded pilots that were promised an upgrade and can no longer afford $36 per hour.

After seeing the displacement results, I don't see how the downgraded pilots could upgrade again any time soon. If they choose to stay here... Recovering from all this will take more than a few months, and will require some drastic changes. Fast.

Subject: Any interest in 11/13 REDOC?

Ladies & Gents – They want me to increase the size of the November 13th REDOC class with additional Furloughees. If you are interested, please let me know as soon as possible. DO NOT USE “Reply All”.

Also, we got a new 2018 and 2019 training plan yesterday that will necessitate us creating 2-3 classes per month throughout all of 2018, starting in January and perhaps even as early as December.

Regards,

Bill

Good Afternoon All,

We are posting a position reduction for IAD
DHC-8 pilots effective December 1, 2017. We
anticipate a reduction of 8 DHC-8 Captain
positions, and 8 DHC-8 First Officer Positions.

Please update your preferences no later than
1800 on October 19, 2017.

Please update your domicile preferences on
www.commutair.info, Scheduling/Bidding menu
under the domicile requests link.

Separately, heard from a multiple sources that 16147 has timed out (one person said due to the gear cycles) and it is unclear if it will be replaced. It hasn't flown since August 14th, so there may be some truth to this.

Timed out? The plane was built in 2003! Give me a break.
