one (1) block of one (1) or more reserve days shall be scheduled
for no fewer than twelve (12) days off in each bid period.
2. A pilot awarded a composite line with more than one (1) block of
one (1) or more reserve days, or a reserve line, shall be scheduled
for no fewer than eleven (11) days off in each bid period."
The language concerning days off for line holders and reserve pilots is the same. So, I don't see how you came to this conclusion?

"i. When a flight to which a reserve pilot assigned returns to his domicile after 0200LT on a scheduled day off, that day off shall be moved to a later reserve day in the month. If there are no remaining reserve days in the month, it shall be placed in the ensuing month and become an inviolate day off.
j. When a reserve pilot is extended into duty on a previously scheduled day off, the provisions of paragraph 25.G.1.i shall apply."
No such language exists for line holders.

Yup. This was mentioned in the latest update from the MEC. LOA 5 - Restoration of Lost Days Off. Effectively we are negotiating to be able to have the option to restore the day off or to be paid out for it. That option would be the pilot's, not the company's.

Update on the the EWR and IAD crew rooms. EWR should be getting new furniture soon. IAD should be moving over to the D concourse with an adjacent quiet room in 3-4 weeks.
CPP- United has shut down new hire classes for the remainder of the year, next C5 CPP group to go in late 1Q now. Still expect to send 50 if United stays with hiring 500 next year.
Hardstand at EWR with be utilized for the jet once the Dash's are gone
Fill out an incident report any time there is an injury on board, no matter how small and even if the passenger says they're fine and declines medical aid or personnel
Still planning on Jet classes every 3 weeks starting in November with 10 Dash pilots per class

Someone brought up the high number of reserves due to reduced block hours. Asked if we could perhaps award reservists more than the min 11 days off, Fitz said theyd take a look at that.
There was no discussion about those on the Dash with upcoming training events due.

I think the silence is deafening when it comes to the Sep awards. Sep schedules are already published. It would mess the operation up even more than it already is if they awarded a Sep upgrade class now. They should have already put out a bid for Oct upgrades and that hasn't happened. Upgrade times are going back up when the dash guys start coming over, I think a good number of FOs are leaving when their year is up in the next 4-5 months.
