Flow from the pool haulted for the summertime, but will start again shortly after. If u are in the pool waiting then I think it's a matter of how long it will take u to meet the requirements (1000hrs TPIC, Degree etc) b4 getting a class date. The thing with the CPP at C5 is that we are currently a small group still, so ONCE YOU'RE IN THE POOL flowing to mainline is quicker cuz there's more flour than water.

I think ORD was just a rumor, they say new base TBD in 2017 on the web but I doubt thats on the company radar this year. I am not 1 year yet and I am half way to 1000hrs....so right now I am looking at upgrading after 16 to 17 months from DOH.

As with any airline, I would take the upgrade times that recruiters tell you with a mountain of salt.
It will largely depend on how many airplanes we end up with. Right now, the company is focused on parking the dashes and transitioning all of those pilots over to the ERJ. That is a lot of pilots to run through transition and upgrade before your number would be called.

They (management) have zero plans put together for the transition. Them saying they want to do something and actually being competent enough to make it happen are two very different things. Slim chance of all the Dashes leaving this year.

Looks like we added 5 to the list this month so far, don't think that'll come close to covering attrition. Last weeks crew room visit, mgmt still thinks our sign on bonus and quick upgrades will bring in the applicants. I almost spit my pizza out when I heard them say that.
