Apology accepted.
Do you mean the email that was sent out on 6/23 that states "This will effectively get us to 61 Embraer 145's - tripling the size of CommutAir in a short 2 1/2 years."?

FYI as a Public Service Announcement:

Do NOT come on this site and post truthful, accurate things about C5 that are not positive. Do not post personal opinions unless they reflect positively about the company.

Don't comply and you will ruffle feathers, anger people who don't know how other airlines are run, and possiblly create a witch hunt against yourself.

In other words, C5 is great! Nothing bad has happened in the last two years. Our contrast is stellar and equally as good as every other airline. They don't abuse us ever. There are no staffing issues. Maintenance is top notch.

Meanwhile, this guy left his previous job and wants to bad mouth everything about his current job as much as possible, under the guise of an APC handle. We know who you are. You suck. There are ups and downs with EVERY regional. If you think it's all so bad, do everyone a favor, QUIT! But, if you want things to get better, quit *****ing and try and make a difference.

You clearly haven't read my posts. I said several good things about this company. Most importantly I have complemented the pilot group and our instructors repeatedly. I've also complemented the COO on his communication to the company about its shortcomings. As to the rest, I call a spade a spade. If people want to know my opinion about the company and have questions about working here, I'll tell them the truth. I certainly won't be some cheerleader and sugar coat things. The contract is awful, the transition has been horrendous, and the pilot group is getting abused every single day. Those are facts.

Like so many others, you resort to personal attacks. I suck? If you know who I am, ask my first officers how I am to fly with. Ask them if I have a positive attitude at work. Ask them if I make the best of everything all day that I'm there, and try to make our environment the best it possibly can be. Ask them how I deal with delays and maintenance issues that come up on a daily basis. Ask the union if I've emailed them about volunteering to make this place better. You say you know me, but you don't know me at all. You're just another handle who thinks they know somebody.

C5 is currently not a regional I would recommend people to come to considering the hiring environment. I'm sorry if that hurts your feelings or your pride.

Not hurting my feelings at all, I just haven't seen anything positive come from anything you've ever said. You can say whatever in front of people face to face, but your forked tongue only seems to come out here. That's what everyone around the company seems to notice.

I post in regards to people who have questions about coming to work here. I don't lie to them, and I've never said anything on here that isn't true or accurate. If people have a problem with that, they should have a problem with the company, not me.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, every line check airman I've worked with except one has been a pleasure and sufficiently knowledgeable and safe. The first officers that I've flown with have all been great people.

I'll post something positive.
The company recently provided subway sandwich trays at gates in EWR because there was a massive GDP in effect that was delaying everyone's flights. It was a small, but thoughtful gesture.

I'm really considering going back to my 91 job because of this and other obvious reasons....
