Now I see why you are destined to a life in an RJ.
On the doctor issue.
1. The good Dr was on (surprise!) a United Express flight that was last minute overbooked with United Express pilots by the United Express carrier crew desk.
2. The Dr was removed by Chicago Aviation Officers (not by a United employee)
3. The Dr. failed to comply with the CAO directives and told them they would have to drag him off.
The crazy pilot, she was an EEOC hire. She was the by product of the government telling you who you have to hire over who you want to hire. I have flown with plenty of them over the years.....
Looks like you guys are holding the line as the worst performing UAX carrier, congratulations.

Don't be mad that the product your airline offers is barely one notch above Spirit and Allegiant. I know of at least four accounting firms in the Chicago area alone, that have terminated their relationship with UAL over constant complaints about the level of service and unreliability. What's best is the arrogance many of you display towards us. It's like you think you're Delta or something. Got news for you buddy, you're not. I may spend my next 6 months in an RJ, but at least I won't ever be furloughed by the Mesa of the majors...

Haha, "destined to life in an RJ"... You keep getting more comical with each post. Aviation doesn't define who I am, and I'm happily leaving this job at the end of the year to run my own business, which has been quite successful so far. As far as the good Dr., last I checked, it was a United gate agent who called the police to remove him, not an Express crew, after being too cheap to offer enough compensation to voluntarily deplane.

Does it really matter that the UA CSR made the call? It was the authorities that removed him. As usual UAX left UA with a S#%^ sandwich to serve thanks to the ineptitude of their operation.
At $300+ an hour I am not sure Mesa is a good comparison. But you don't make great arguments so I am not surprised. If you don't like UA then why stay at commutair. Shouldn't you be at an airline with a pipeline somewhere else? You happen to catch DL pulling a pax off with police, DL pilot smacking a pax in the jetway, DL threatening to take away a family's kids? You are right, we are not DL, ha!
You know the accounting firms? How about sharing the names? I'm sure we can verify your claims. Perhaps they were unable to get where they were going due to a trip on commutair in their itinerary. Yesterday you guys had more delay minutes than one of the other UAX carriers that operates 5x the number of flights you are "scheduled" to operate.
Maybe your generation of geniuses can fix the industry and make it perfect. Make sure everyone gets a trophy and ensure everyone is a winner. I'm content that I've walked a picket line, wear a battle star, endured numerous contract battles, gone through BK, bird flu, SARS, 9/11 and all the road bumps in between. Today we have been able to get back to the top of pay and benefits. If you want to call that "mesa" then it just shows how little you know about history or the industry.

If scope had been retained to scope out RJ's (which I was a supporter of when the debate arose in 1997) most of you flying RJ's today still would not be major airline pilots today.
The majority of the pilots at Commutair weren't in the industry or even out of high school when the scope debate took place in the 90's. Most if not all have walked into a situation you should have known about beforehand. Don't blame legacy pilots for your poor decision making.
Did you need a legacy pilot to do your research for you? Seems you can't seem to take care of yourself or accept any responsibility for where you are in life. Maybe that is why many of you fail the personality test?

Resuming Mainline service on June 8th to CID, GCA, MTY, SBA and SYR. This is in addition to many mainline resumptions to cities earlier in the year. We even have a SFO-SMF in a 737 again. Where did we take back scope? We have a limit on large RJ's and the 50 seaters are killing themselves with cost. When is the last time someone ordered a new 50 seat RJ in the USA?
Please don't be sorry about being younger. I have fewer years remaining but I have retirement to look forward to happily

I'm afraid to imagine how your posts will look after retirement if you have this much time to troll regional boards while you're employed.

Had age 65 not been implemented, thousands of current regional pilots would be at the legacies...AARP eligible Legacy pilots only have to look at themselves to find blame for the state of the industry today. Between selling scope for pennies on the dollar and kicking the retirement can down te road to get yours at the expense of the industry, you can't shirk responsibility for the actions of your group by blaming folks who weren't in the industry when you lost your backbone and sold the industry down the river for $.
That's great about you talking about backbone, really rich. So what stand have you made in your career to make things better?

You are hilarious. How long were you on strike in your career? I wasn't in favor of raising the age and voted against it when ALPA polled the pilots. I didn't move for 5 years either.

Your baby boomer peers made this mess, and we are stuck living it. We do our best with what we have. We are trying to make this place competive with our peer group, but UAL placed our CEO in his chair. Take your beef up with your board.

I trust you won't get furloughed. You would never get hired.

Do you work for commutair, aren't you people an ALPA carrier? If so then you SHOULD know what a battle star signifies. Of course the group that the biggest sacrifice they have made is whether or not they skipped a number on the iPhone model list wouldn't have an appreciation for what it takes to earn a battle star.
