Wrong. I was in the march 13th class and 1 guy MIGHT be out but the rest of us got our dates for sim pushed back until mid-late JULY. The backlog is NOT CLEARED.

I thought I might have been drinking way too much again, so I went back to verify. There is at least one guy with the initials of KS on the seniority list that is sitting in the right seat of the jet from the March class.
That just tells me that the rest of you slackers need to step up your game. JK. I have no idea what's going with training.

Two people from the March class have completed sim. It is an anomaly. They were paired up with a brand new off-the-street instructor and they got the 4am-8am sim time for two weeks. The company could have offered the new time slot to other people already in the pipeline. Instead, they offered it to the March class and those two took it.

I think 2 weeks of waking up at 1:30am and getting paired with a brand new instructor that isn't typed in the plane or familiar with C5 ops is punishment enough. They did not have a smooth, easy sim experience.

One small bit of brightening: for May C5 was ranked 6th out of 8 express carriers in performance.
Not great, but better than 7th or 8th. A gradual inching back up the hill... hopefully to where we were last summer performance-wise.
If we don't shoot ourselves by discouraging people to come here (what sort of idiot would do that?) we can turn the performance around just as ExpressJet and Republic/Shuttle did when they had their similar cancellation bubble a few years back.
