I going to suggest the Strong Bags. The guy that makes them is a SWA CA and has been doing them for a while. I have had my bag for 5 years and it has held up very well. I am a commuter and I have seen the luggage works bags bend even with the metal sides.
This bag has an aluminum shell all the way around and is still in great shape. Everything on my bag is original with no repairs yet. I did take the wheels off once and cleaned them and they are still working great.
They are around $250 but appear to be on sale because he ran out. I have seen several of them in the crew rooms if you need to look at one of them.
AND no, I don't get a kick back for pushing his stuff. I am just really impressed with his bags. I also have the flight case.

I'm still not done with IOE. Started in Oct.
However, it's about time they sorted out that mess. Hopefully much smoother going forward, better for everyone involved.

Xjt isn't the only carrier able to fly the plane without a weight restriction.
