Any truth to the rumor they are changing the call sign to "Boomerrang". Seems like half the flights return to field for mechanical. How could express jet fly those planes with very little interruptions yet give them to Commutair and the operation implodes with cancels?

Half the flights? Imploding with cancels? The current completion rate for April is 98.8%. I'm no C5 cheerleader, but at least try to be truthful.

Don't feed the troll. Some of are telling the truth, others are just baiting. I've yet to return to the gate in the E145. I've certainly delayed a few flights, but I haven't once returned.

You're right. I thought I had heard that line before. Except this time he seems to have switched air frames.

Was told the past few day numerous return to field for commutair. Flights hours late or canceled. Most were E145 with the regularly scheduled DH8 cancel and delays. Supposedly mesa stepped in on IAD to BUF to cover massive commutair cancels in the market.

"Was told"? How convenient. How is 98.8% "massive cancels"?

Lambourne tell us what is this really about. You will feel better. Obvious trolling will not heal your wounded heart.

I heard that the "new and improved" bonus program was a way to get the pilots to help cover the cost for Dash heavy checks. Union is telling guys to fall on their own swords nowadays.

Sad.

Alternate Facts!!! Actually yesterday, C5's CCF was 93.98% and MTD the CCF is 96.22%. What's really impressive is the D0 MTD of 58%. Not those numbers in themselves are a little misleading because we both know the definition of a controllable cancellation gets stretched into the carriers benefit. But heres a few stats:

Todays cancellations in great NE Weather:

This is the only thing I have to go by is our score card, apparently from United's data warehouse, which shows our MTD completion at 98.8% at the time of my post. Is there another source of info you can share?

I do know that 4963 is now operated under a different flight# on a Republic E170, which I think most commuters are OK with. I do not know if that counts as a cancel in United's database.
