The last 20 pages of this thread are awful for morale. And by that I mean that I am not optimistic about our ability to properly staff what we have let alone staffing for 40 (or 61, depending on who you ask) airplanes.

Which is good in the grand scheme of things. Being able to staff a growing air line with sub par working rules and pay would be bad for everyone. I for one can not wait to see what changes will be made to get more people through the door.

I emailed one of our union reps yesterday to find out what they are doing to fix this problem. I am still awaiting a reply...

We only have 1 Rep. The other left in the CPP and the remaining is also in the CPP.

The communication is lacking to the point that newer pilots (hired less than a year ago) don't know who any of the union reps are for anything other than hotels. The hotel committee seems to be the only group that communicates on a regular basis.
