The "announcement rumor" I heard was third hand. So now you're hearing it fourth hand. And the age old question lingers, how much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could indeed chuck some rich mahogany lumber?!

Well, although a lot of guys came in initially under 1000hrs, I'd say there's less than a half dozen that will be close on making 1500hrs by the deadline, if even that. They kiboshed hiring sub-900 guys months ago. They are supposedly working with those who are close to come up with a plan but to say its a widespread issue is wrong.

What are the minimums to upgrade to captain?
ATP mins and your seniority number called.

It's nothing, just language that deals with code-share agreements through United and Continental. It is a byproduct of the merger. No new flying or anything like that.
