Maybe the 145 is heavy on the captain side already and they need people to fly in the right seat? are you upset that the upgrade you was chasing got away?:

*Until we have a signed deal to replace the D8s, the seniority list is about were it needs to be.
Why are you still here?

Anyone with interest in working for CommutAir should direct your questions to a recruiter. This forum is filled with snowflakes and cry babies that are out here to bad mouth the company.

Recruiters aren't truthful like the line pilots are. They don't fly the line so they have no idea how scheduling treats you, how upgrades are offered then rescinded. Yes, reach out to a recruiter with some questions, but I would then come on here and confirm the answers they provided are indeed true via line pilots.

We need people yesterday, we are never going to be able to staff the 40 jets, let alone the possible 61 management says is happening. The pilot group here is awesome, but yes, compensation and work rules are much better at other regionals. Everyone has their reasons for coming here, if you live close to either base and want to move up in seniority, come here, because attrition is not the only way to move up here, we are growing and need to hire a lot of people to come in after you.

Who said anything bad on the last 2 pages?
The attraction that C5 had last year is gone. The growth is finished for now. The compensation is towards the lower end of our peers. The work rules are horrible.
Why anyone with no 121 experience would come today makes no sense.
Yes you can upgrade in the D8. But you can be a DEC at GO Jet.
So really. Call me a snowflake. But you can't call me a liar.

Sounds like you'd rather pull the wool over their eyes. Truth is truth. What do you think is going on at C5 now? What would you suggest to dodge101? Sending him/her to a recruiter is saying to ask a Ford salesman whether to buy a Ford or Dodge.

The ERJ CA isn't heavy. All the reserves are flying.
Are we not still taking delivery of ERJs? What happens in a month or 2 when those 16 CA spots that were canceled are actually needed?
They weren't canceled because the CA side is staffed. They were canceled because the can't backfill their FO seats.

Attention all entitled individuals: STOP. You are not owed anything, life doesn't work out as planned; live with it. Apparently, you did not do your research regarding C5, prior to joining. C5 is about getting the job done regardless of the obstacles presented in front of you. It always has and always will be.

C5 offers quick career progression, not the ultimate contract. There will be individuals with less than 2 years at C5 and leaving via CPP to United soon. Entry CFI's will be leaving in 4. You can become a check airman or union rep with very little experience. There is no other airline that can match that. Put in the work and live with the sub-par work rules and you will be rewarded.
