Well thats not great news. Could you share any details? PM is fine as well. With a pilot group as small as ours, we end up with direct contact regularly, at least in the past.

One common theme is people tend to quit fairly quickly if they don't mesh with the culture at C5. I don't think the pilots are willing to put up with any more shenanigans.

Imagine if you will someone who will take their own interpretations of the contract and apply it to the scheduling side. A person who will build their own little fiefdom inside your scheduling derpartment, and then will proceed to wreak havoc. Hopefully she's not the head of crew planning lol...
Imagine someone who was flight crew now turned management who despises crews so much they could care less about your specific situation. When you try and work an issue out, I'm right, you're wrong, and if you're stuck at an outstation, tough cookies.
Imagine someone who will never respond to any correspondence from you when they have screwed up... they are always right, you're wrong, and no, I'm not going to fix it.
Imagine someone using words like "UGH" and "Have A Great Day!" Used like buzzwords in every correspondence.

The good news is that kind of **** won't fly long here. Morale is already poor and giving people more incentive to leave won't be tolerated.

Lot of rumors going around about a possible retention program similar to Piedmont's. Currently they offer $1,000 a month to anyone seat locked on the 8, plus a $20,000 new hire bonus. I have spoken to current C5 captains considering making the lateral jump. That says a lot.
