Some of that makes sense. The recruiter did say they have hired guys that want to return to the states after flying for Emirates and Cathay. Get the bonus, get reaclimated to 121 flying and with that previous experience, can't see why they wouldn't be picked up by someone sooner than later.

Hard to tell really; depends a lot on personal preference. Just starting (and being in reserve) I personally would lean towards IAD, more predictable yielding a better Quality of Life. But again personal preference; where are you commuting from; are you re-locating, certain overnights, more soft time, more block time, seniority, etc? Once you are on property for a month or two you will find your niche.
