Honest? Perhaps you think canceling 5% of your flights is a good thing. If the flight misconnects you on your itinerary what is the difference bewteen that and a cancellation? The passenger is still disrupted. So saying it doesn't matter what that loads are, you aren't getting where you want to go would be more accurate if that is what you want to hear. Now award yourself a participation trophy.

why do we get pulldowns every time it's windy and 29 is used in EWR? every time it snows? crews and airplanes out of place. takes some time to recover when so much of your fleet passes through such a weather sensitive hub.
not to mention the Q's are in new territory, and the highest time/cycle Bombardier has seen.
But, yeah, mainline shoveling 50% more airplane at us in less than 8 months should be no problem at all.

Last I heard, UA was still pretty happy with our performance numbers considering that C5 got the new fleet operational faster than any UAX partner had been able to accomplish previously. In fact, I was told that UA was surprised by it.

As a pilot, I've never canceled a single flight... and neither have you. No idea why you think anyone should give two poops about something I can't control. Hey, lambby, my wife was trying to fly from Denver to Chicago and had her flight canceled for maintenance. You must be real proud that your airline is worthless.

why you oversell our flights? Our on time performance would be wonderful if we didn't waste hours per day fighting with ops playing the w&b game

Perhaps all those oversells are from the earlier cancellation from your operation. Why as a pilot are you dealing with oversells in the first place?

Really, you are going to "get there"? Do you understand the majority of the traffic is connections in this business ? When you crater 60% of your ontime connections, you create disjointed itineraries where people don't get to the wedding, vacation, funeral and business meeting. So while they may get there it may be too late for the trip they were taking to be useful. In the end it is our company identity that the passengers see. For all the work that has been done to make things better it only takes a few 60% late operations like commutair to unwind things.
