Exactly, especially when you talk trash and use people's initials.

I for one appreciate having knowledge of these situations before I sign up. Fewer surprises is better. Not really sure why people are being so defensive. Sometimes the truth hurts, but you can't change what you don't acknowledge.

Agreed. Not sure there should be a muzzle on what you post unless it's "Company Confidential", then we understand. it's enlightening to hear "what's going on", I tend to believe there's some truth to what's being posted.
Was everyone told to stop posting, or nah? The thread has been quiet.

I went through C5 training back in 2013, and since then have been through 2 other 121 Indoc courses. My personal recollection was that C5 training was the best out of the three, primarily because the instructors (both ground and sim) spent half their month on the line, and half the month in the school house. Seemed to work very well and prevent differences in what you were taught in class, and what you experienced on the line.

If this is the same now I don't know, adding a new fleet type and growing the company can certainly change things, but I hope they kept that part of the culture intact.

Both current indoc instructors have less than 100 hours this year (or about that) and are constantly in danger of losing currency.

Well then! There's nothing to worry about!

Any updates on captain awards for the Oct/Nov classes?

So you're saying those indoc instructors choose to teach ground over flying? If so, was it their choice?

And that in coming professional pilot should have showed some respect to that person standing in front the class teaching for 8 hours.
