This is what we've been hearing. I don't think it's intended to be braggadocios in any way.
EWR through flights will be starting in Jan and I believe the EWR 145 base will start towards the end of the first quarter. The end game is to be the only 145 operator in EWR (I'm unsure of the intended timeline on this).

We only hire FOs, so yes, if you meet the requirements for the 15k bonus, regardless if you hold captain in indoc, you will still get the full bonus.

Judging from the posts that you have on this site and the number of times that you have defended XJT even though you were wrong, you might want to do some fact checking first. I am not trying to brag, just warn.

If you want to talk about poor taste, look through the post you make that has anything to do with other carriers that are "taking away the XJT flying" (really UA's and not XJT). You need to stop worrying about something that you do not control.

ERJ is only based in IAD until sometime in 2017. Dash is IAD and EWR. If you have the 121 time and legal to upgrade, the bids are hitting so most can upgrade in new hire class. If you can't hold it in new hire, then you will get the CA spot just out of new hire class. That applies to the dash and the jet.

Junior CA on the dash is a Nov 2016 new hire.
Junior CA on the ERJ is an Oct 2016 new hire.
Both in new hire training.

The $15,000 bonus is fedex'd to your home a couple of days prior to ground school. Ground school is paid at the 75 hours monthly guarantee from day one.

The dash base is in EWR and IAD. A good chance you would be able to hold either out of training as a CA if you have the 121 hours. The $15,ooo bonus is nice also.
Was there an announcement that xjt is closing their Ewr base?

One small correction to the above info that I just noticed. Looks like the Dec class has CA's in it also. Second from the last person on the Pilot list is showing as a CA.

So:
Junior Dash CA is Dec 2016 in training.

Not that the pilots know at XJT. But then again, the company and Union at XJT have a tendency to not share that info.

Your CEO has no idea what Expressjets plans are for our bases.. Maybe we do eventually close EWR hell maybe even IAH. But you don't know that. You really need to stick by your screen name and quit spreading false information. You are only spreading rumors that have no official merit.

I guess you would be right. Our CEO that was hired by UA would have no idea what the plans are for the total fleet and route plans for UA. I am sure the XJT ceo (skywest) tells UA what they are going to do whether UA likes the XJT plans or not. Let me know how that works out for you next year.
