As an ex XJT guy, the plane is the same, but procedures, memory items, limitations (don't even ask me how on this one), and weight and balance are all different.

The biggest difference out of all of it is the change in the attitude of those around you and it is a growing company.

C5 has a very positive attitude and most pilots are happy here. The company is growing. CPP program with a good percentage of pilots starting classes at UA. The W&B is still done on paper right now (UA IT person just hired last month).

EWR base will be opening soon for the ERJ (replacing the other 145 carrier's base when they close their EWR base late next year).

The dash base is in EWR and IAD. A good chance you would be able to hold either out of training as a CA if you have the 121 hours. The $15,ooo bonus is nice also.

You mean jet or dash captain out of training for previous 121? How long for previous 121 to upgrade on the jet for the January 3 class. Thanks. Sounds like a great group of people at c5

Not only is this completely inaccurate but in pretty poor taste to be bragging about.

The first part is correct, the second is not. Poor form on their part. Fly-through ERJs are starting early January in EWR.

"The $15,ooo bonus is nice also." Is that applicable if one upgrades in indoc, or only for FOs?

They are supposed to send the check 2 days before training.

Copy. Can anyone confirm if the checks arrived before training for you?
