UA since the original announcement has given C5 additional ERJ's to replace the dash's. These additional jets have nothing to do with the extra 20 or the original 40 planes. C5 will end up with at least 81 ERJ's if the option is acted upon.

This info comes from the CEO during his presentation to the new hires and is not in any public announcement.
So I was at onboarding today, I was told the classes have been reduced to 15 to help ease the training back log, I'm okay with that. I was told there would be the same amount in the 3 Jan Indoc class 15 or so. Looking forward to getting started.

Welcome aboard. I think you will like it here. It is a great group of people to work with at C5.

Just don't believe the things that you here from people that have only posted twice ever on APC. There are those that like to flame bait about the number of planes that will be headed this way. I am sure that you got the truth today while you were in CLE about where this company is headed.

Can someone please advise what is covered in the 3 weeks of training at KIAD? Also, is the Dash training only in KSEA?

Ground is in IAD, sim is in SEA for the Dash.

If I understood correctly, all E145 training is in STL.

Looks like all but a couple of the November new hire class went to the ERJ145 and some will get ERJ Captain right out of training. Yet another success story for a great company. You can definitely drink the koolaid. Clearly a great time to go to Commutair and get a quick path to the left seat on the 145.

You say November class, you mean the class that started 11/28 or the 10/31 class? Commutair termed the 10/31 class November and the 11/28 the December class.

This is just speculation but wait and see what happens with the current class. I wouldn't be surprised if the next few new hire classes were scaled back in frequency and then went all Dash. That would allow them to address the jet training backlog and also handle the senior guys transitioning to the jet.

Not a whole you can do to prepare, other than go buy flash cards, highlighters, and a good pen. The training at C5 is great, everyone is laid back, and it's a very relaxed/friendly environment. They will give you everything you need to succeed....all you have to do is come in with a good attitude, and put in the time studying, and you'll be fine.
