I dont see this backlog affecting classes going forward, but you all should expect a pretty good paid vacation albeit 75hrs @ $36
We still need 20+ ERJ pilots a month to keep up with deliveries.

It was pretty much all CPP question and answer time with CP and recruiting. Other than that, EFB question, seat lock question, and that's about all I can remember....nothing exciting.

EFB. C5 hired someone from UA to oversee the IT for our company a couple of weeks ago. They are getting the ground work done on other systems that will lay the foundation for the EFB.

Hello, I'm a 121 FO looking seriously at a lateral move to Commutair because of the movement and their relationship with United. I also have over 1000 jet sic and am hoping to upgrade as soon as I can. I can drive to either base.
Just wondering if the indoc is backed up or just sims? I'm looking at coming on board as early as mid-late December if they have classes available. Hopefully not too late to catch the wave.
Not a deal-breaker, but from reading it seems like my chances for the ERJ are about 70/30. But I guess if I am eligible for upgrade I can switch to ERJ CA even if I initially get assigned Dash FO in training?
I've met a few of you, seems like a nice group. If anyone can tell me more about the company/lines/QOL, I'd greatly appreciate it.

They are working on getting more sim instructors and getting people online faster. It's just a slow process for the next few months.
If you get assigned the dash fo spot, you will be able to upgrade to any equipment.

Getting in now is a great time, movement is still great, the CPP is up and going, and airplanes are being delivered with options for more. The downsides right now are typical growing pains.....not enough crews, lots of scheduling issues, long backlogs in the training loop, etc. I think in time, this will all start to get better, but it could be a while. Reserve rules at C5 are lacking to say the least, but again, getting in now would position you to move pretty quick.
