Hey everyone. Can anyone at C5 tell me about split trips. Does it go junior or senior? They told me at the interview that you can bid them and be home regularly. Is that true or just BS?

Split duty is where you fly last flight to airport and get maybe 3-6 hours of rest and fly first flight out. Its mostly junior because senior people can work regular lines that are worth more. So split duty is very junior minus few people who love commutability and are nightowls.

Split duty is where you fly last flight to airport and get maybe 0-7 hours of rest and fly first flight out.

There we go. Fixed.

So do you guys think split duty is a good gig if you're trying to be home more regularly?

you are only home more if you live in base. Also, you need to sleep during some of that home time due to short and interrupted sleep during the split duty/stand-up/high speed...whatever you choose to call them.
They go junior for a reason(s)

This^^^^and don't forget this overnight "rest" is further reduced by wx and/or mx delays. Your travel to/fm the hotel (15-20 min), if the van is on time, cuts into this. You usually get maybe a solid 4hr behind the door
