Thats not going to work unless they start parking Dashes in January at the latest.
If you look at the bids there were a lot of changes about 2-3 weeks ago. People saw how Jr the ERJ was and realized they could hold a better schedule or even get off reserve by bidding over.
30% of the class has to be offered to Dash guys, unless they start cutting the transitions out they will have to run a dash class every other month.
We did hire street captains (5) in August, just they won't call them that. They completed Indoc and were awarded captain before Systems.

The reserve system needs to be overhauled, not just the rules. I rather the money carrot be eaten whole and ask for a 2nd and 3rd carrot while they work on a new reserve system. A reserve system takes a while to implement and with the amount of commuters a company called commutair has-short and long call won't really benefit too many.

I failed to see how this is the company's poor utilization of reserves. Seems to me if you wanted to opt out of your flying, a simple sick call would have gotten those reserves off the bench, and for you to be able to go home early.

Maybe using Ewr reserves who need to meet consolidation Ewr turns make more sense than what he was doing?

The company cannot pull flying off a line people to give to a reserve pilot. If you're on day 2 of 4 would you want to sit reserve so the reserve pilot can consolidate? Or would you rather lose pay for the flying you were supposed to do?

Sorry a guy posting about reserve overhaul complaining about reserves in the domicile he's not based out not flying the trips he's been assigned sounded like he was on reserve to me.
