Are you talking about CQF?

There is a 12 month limit on being a CQF, it takes effect Dec,1 2017

The twelve-month limit on the length of time a pilot can be required to be a CQF in Section 24.A.2.b shall be waived. Any time served as a CQF prior to December 1, 2017 shall count toward the twelve-month limit.

Only thing I can see is the talk about the bottom 5%.
There will be at least one CQFO, he is in upgrade class now.

The following comes directly from a CommutAir Flight Time Grid our pilots are required to fill out. It lists the upgrade requirements. If you have multiple types of flight time, e.g. 121 SIC & 135 PIC, you may be able to combine them to count toward the 1,000 hour requirement. It would be up to you to determine if your 135 time counts in accordance with the FAR referenced below.

§121.436 Pilot Qualification: Certificates and experience requirements. 121.436(a)(3) (a) No certificate holder may use nor may any pilot act as pilot in command of an aircraft (or as second in command of an aircraft in a flag or supplemental operation that requires three or more pilots) unless the pilot: (3) If serving as pilot in command in part 121 operations, has 1,000 hours as second in command in operations under this part, pilot in command in operations under §91.1053(a)(2)(i) of this chapter, pilot in command in operations under §135.243(a)(1) of this chapter, or any combination thereof. For those pilots who are employed as pilot in command in part 121 operations on July 31, 2013, compliance with the requirements of this paragraph (a)(3) is not required. Military: §121.436 (c ) Up to 500 hours of military flight time can be credited for: PIC multi-engine fixed wing time, that requires more than 1 pilot.

Thanks Whoop. That's the information I was looking for. A Google search also yielded an FAA legal interpretation from Mark W. Bury from 2014.

How many more pilots does CommutAir plan to hire this year? How many planned for next year? Thank you!

There is no official number, but as of today there are 300 pilots. The ideal number with the current aircraft orders is 600. Of course, this does not include people leaving due to attrition and 10 to United this year and 40 next year.

Is there any update on October 3rd class yet for fleet assignment? Will october be all jets or still mixed? What's the schedule like for jets?

I was told all jet during onboarding.

Plenty of people have commented on the jet schedule. Read the last few pages of the thread.
